We're in print!

After 20 months in our home, we are far from finished with the restoration plans we hoped to complete. It seems this house has a spirit of it’s own, and has no issues telling us what specifically will be repaired next (usually by spraying watery tears all over). We are excited to have documented this mid way point with a feature in the San Antonio Express News! Reporter Richard Marini and a photographer Billy Calzada joined us on a Friday to tour the house, chat about what we’ve done and what we love about it, and give a little info about our neighborhood and what it’s like to live here.

Growing up I always loved seeing and reading about resident’s homes in the newspaper every Sunday. Before the internet it was one of the ways I was able to explore how other people designed, and gave a glimpse into the varying lives being lived in San Antonio. It was thrilling to me for us to join those ranks! It was exciting for the kids too, and we can’t wait for the print edition so we can save them some copies.
