who are we?

We’re Susie and Marc. In December of 2018 we unlocked our dream of moving our family of 5 into a unique 1960’s with the purchase of our 1967 custom ranch home in Windcrest, Texas. After nearly two decades of collecting mid-century finds, and with a few years of home renovation under our belt, we decided to document and share our descent back in time. Our goal is to create a home that is both mod and modern, appearing to be somewhere where you step back and time but can still enjoy modern amenities. Follow us on our journey as we share our favorite “picks” from thrift stores and estate sales, house repairs and renovations, and offer handmade retro gifts and apparel. We are Six Mod Seven
