Progress Report: Round Kitchen

Kitchen/breakfast renovation is coming along. This round kitchen design was one of our favorite things about this home when we found the listing, but the previous owner had done an elaborate contemporary remodel and we obviously favor a cleaner, modern look! Since this photo was taken, Marc has stripped the green paint off the rails, and they will be repainted black. Cabinet doors were refaced with maple slabs by The Cabinet Wizard. The granite counters will have to stay for now, but we’re planning for a matte black backsplash to go with white marble floors. The black accents are feeling like a bold choice, but I think with the under cabinet lighting it will highlight the under cabinet lighting.
